How it works
A hidden video element decodes the requested range frame by frame; each frame paints to a canvas and gifenc packs the frame into an animated GIF.
Tips
- Clips under 5 seconds at 12 fps make tidy GIFs.
- Keep the width low — a 480 wide GIF is usually plenty.
Limitations
Very long or very high-resolution clips are slow and large; browser codec support determines what plays.
