Insert page numbers on every page of a PDF — choose position, start number and style.

How to use this tool

Drop a PDF.
Choose position (top/bottom and alignment).
Set start number and style.
Click Add Numbers and download.

How it works

PDF-lib writes the page number text onto each page at the configured position, then the new PDF is saved.

Tips

Bottom-center is the most common and looks professional.
For booklets, alternate left and right corners.

Limitations

Numbers are static text after export; re-running with different settings recreates them.

Yes, set a start number (e.g. 10) so appendices keep working with your document numbering.

Where can numbers be placed?
